SUMMARY:
My client in Centurion who is part of a JSE-listed holding company is looking for an junior accountant to join their team. You will be based at the Centurion head office but will have branches that form part of your portfolio to take care of. They need you to start yesterday so apply today!

POSITION INFO:

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Review budget, monitors expenditure against actual daily, weekly and monthly and advise accordingly
Prepare annual budgets
Monthly monitor of expenses and income and providing management with sufficient commentary and feedback on the status of the income statement
Resolve billing and account queries
Receives arrears/ outstanding debts and advises accordingly
Reviewing of Fee schedules (takes ownership as GSS just assist with processing)
Assist with the overdue debt collection process on campus liaising between brand and GSS
Manages and controls petty cash
Monitors and controls purchase on Procurement card and reconciles these
Sees the procurement process through end to end. Placing orders and completing the request to submit to GSS
Monitors outstanding POs and process monthly journals as required.
Capex spend monitoring, spend applications and annual/termly fixed assets counts
Monthly monitor of expenses and income and providing management with sufficient commentary and feedback on the status of the income statement
Checks monthly payroll

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience doing the finance function
Strong people management skills
Ability to handle Internal and external stakeholders

Qualification:
BCom + experience
