Junior Developers

Duties:

• Registering new clients on the system: maintaining registration functionality, trouble shooting, reporting problems and implemented solutions
• Engaging in daily stand-up meetings with team members
• Establishing client requirements and develop action plans based on said requirements
• Implementing functionalities of user stories created by Business Analysts to meet customer requirements
• Designing and developing products that are fit for purpose and meet customer requirements
• Tracking and reporting of progress made in terms of development
• Managing deliverables and project deadlines to meet internal and customer requirements
• Providing assistance to Senior Developers in the registration process, analysis of requirements, determination of functionality, design and development process and reporting
• Liaising and working with Business Analysists, Support Agents and Senior Developers

Requirements:

• Diploma or relevant tertiary qualification in Software Development or IT
• Certification in programming
• Software development experience (completed Internship) will be advantageous
• Technical and Computer skills: C Sharp, MVC, SQL, Entity framework, Java Script, Azure DevOps, C#, Microsoft T-SQL, ASP.net Framework, ASP.net Core (MVC), Web-API, Entity framework, jQuery, Angular 11 and Dapper will be an advantage
• Knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Knowledge and understanding of the agricultural industry will be advantageous
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong project and time management skills (planning, organising and prioritising)
• Excellent communication skills
