Junior Credit Analyst

POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for a Junior Credit Analyst for their boutique lending business providing an excellent service to their customers.

Our client requires someone with a BCom Degree in the financial field and a keen interest in finance and lending.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

• Reviewing client credit applications generated from the lending system.
• Educate clients on the product and the process.
• Drive efficiencies within the onboarding and approval process.
• Manage throughput in terms of new clients’ sign-ups.
• Ensure efficient client throughput in terms of trading volumes.
• Build and lead a team in the near future.
• Develop new investment backed lending products with the company directorate.
• Deal origination, deal execution, relationship management and risk management.

Education and Experience required:

• BCom Accounting Degree or BCom Financial Management Degree.
• 1 to 2 years’ work experience in the financial industry.
• Working knowledge of credit risk management.
• Familiar with National Credit Act.
• Clean credit record.

Salary offered: R22 000 – R30 000 per month.

This is full time permanent position based in the Big Bay (Bloubergstrand) area, Cape Town.

Starting date: As soon as possible.
