SUMMARY:
Seeking a Junior Admin Assistant with experience in the Financial Services space.

POSITION INFO:
Are you highly organised, detail-driven, and looking to grow your career within the financial services industry? We’re looking for a Junior Administration Assistant to join a dynamic Private Clients team and support the operational head in ensuring seamless back-office administration and compliance.
You will play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting with the administration of direct equity portfolios. This role requires someone methodical, proactive, and able to work within structured processes while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate client records and databases in line with regulatory requirements
Assist with account opening processes and liaise with service providers
Ensure compliance with FICA/FAIS and internal policies
Monitor and resolve discrepancies, escalating where necessary
Respond to queries from Portfolio Managers and internal stakeholders
Build strong relationships with external advisors
Deliver high-quality administrative support across the team
Assist with ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

Matric (essential)
2–3 years’ experience in investment administration or financial services
Strong understanding of FICA and regulatory compliance (FSCA)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
