POSITION INFO:
The Opportunity

This entry-level role is the perfect runway to build real-world accounting skills.
You will receive structured guidance while helping the finance team run smooth daily operations.
Your contribution will ensure accurate ledger records, timely reconciliations, and efficient monthly workflows.

Job Description

Capture daily supplier invoices, payments, and routine general ledger entries accurately.
Complete monthly bank reconciliations and verify bank statements against system records.
Assist in balancing intercompany transaction accounts across the group's investment portfolio.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers to keep vendor records up to date.
Help the senior accounting team prepare working papers for the month-end trial balance.
Assist with the preparation of VAT schedules and statutory compliance filing records.
Manage organized digital filing systems to maintain clean records for annual audits.

What You Need to Apply

Completed BCom degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related commercial discipline.
Successful completion of at least Accounting 2 (Financial Accounting II) at university.
Solid foundational knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and basic accounting rules.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly basic Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
High attention to detail with good numerical accuracy and organized working habits.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear, professional telephone manner.
Positive attitude, eager willingness to learn, and strong team-player mindset.
