POSITION INFO:

Our client based in Midrand is seeking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate with some practical accounting experience who is looking to grow their career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Capturing and processing supplier invoices
Reconciling supplier statements
Invoicing customers and managing accounts receivable
Reconciling customer accounts
Reconciling loan accounts
Performing bank account reconciliations
Supporting the finance team with day-to-day accounting duties

Able to work independently and take initiative
Strong organisational and time management skills
Professional and team-oriented

Minimum Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
1–2 years of accounting experience
Own reliable transport
Access to reliable home WiFi (for hybrid/remote work if required)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills
