Are you a detail-focused accounting professional eager to grow within a fast-paced, results-driven environment? Our client is seeking a Junior Financial Accountant to join their finance team and contribute to the smooth running of daily financial operations within a well-established organisation.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers, values accuracy, and is looking to gain hands-on exposure across a wide range of accounting and financial administration functions.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform general accounting and bookkeeping duties
Process and reconcile cashbooks, petty cash, and general ledger transactions
Manage local and foreign supplier invoices, including reconciliations
Conduct monthly bank and clearing account reconciliations
Process and reconcile company business card transactions
Ensure accurate VAT allocations in line with financial policies
Maintain organised and accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Assist with month-end processes and reporting requirements
Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and corporate governance standards
Support the finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial information
Provide professional support to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

Bookkeeping Certificate/Diploma or BCom in Accounting
2–3 years’ experience in a similar role
SAP accounting experience will be advantageous
Strong reconciliation skills and financial administration experience
