Based in Kempton Park, this role offers exposure to a business operating at the intersection of engineering, construction, and large-scale projects. It’s an ideal opportunity for a finance professional who wants to gain hands-on experience in a complex, project-driven industry while building strong technical accounting skills.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the full financial accounting function
Preparing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
Supporting monthly management accounts
Processing and reviewing journals and general ledger transactions
Assisting with audit preparation and supporting documentation
Monitoring project-related financial transactions
Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls and procedures

Job Experience and Skills Required

BCom Accounting (minimum requirement)
2+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
Exposure to engineering, construction, or mining environments highly beneficial
Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
High attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
