Job & Company Description:
A well-established and growing organisation is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join their finance team based in Greenstone, Johannesburg East.

This role is ideally suited to a SAIPA-qualified professional with 1–2 years’ post-qualification experience, who is eager to gain hands-on exposure and further develop their technical accounting skills.

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance, and efficient financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with preparing monthly management accounts
Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
Process journals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Assist with VAT calculations and submissions
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit queries
Work on accounting systems such as QuickBooks and Draftworx

Job Experience & Qualifications:

SAIPA qualification (essential)
1–2 years’ post-qualification accounting experience
Exposure to QuickBooks and/or Draftworx (essential)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness to learn and grow within a finance team
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
