Join a dynamic environment where teamwork and precision drive success. Our client, a global manufacturing concern with a focus on automotive and transport industries, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing / Automotive Accountant to become a vital part of their on-site team in Kempton Park.

Duties:

Manage the cash book for client transport equipment, including daily cash payments on the Standard Bank website.
Oversee daily cash balances to ensure sufficient funds for payments.
Perform bank reconciliations and processing of local and foreign payments.
Handle petty cash, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and cash flow analysis.
Cost foreign creditors and process related payments.
Manage debtors, including credit notes and foreign debtor transactions.
Reallocate credit card transactions and perform freight reconciliations.
Prepare analysis reports and impactful PowerPoint presentations.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
Assist with ad-hoc tasks and special projects as required.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar roles.
Strong skills in accounting, asset management, cash flow management, and reconciliations.
Proficiency in handling creditors, foreign transactions, and reporting.

Nice to Have:

Experience with manufacturing, automotive, or transport sectors.
Familiarity with foreign creditor management and cost analysis.
