Invoicing Clerk

POSITION INFO:
My client is looking for an experienced Invoicing Clerk to join a fast-paced environment supporting clients within the supply chain and logistics sector.

This role is based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and issue large volumes of customer invoices, including foreign currency billing
• Ensure all invoicing is completed in line with internal controls, procedures, and client requirements
• Interpret invoicing guidelines and provide clarity where needed
• Engage with clients to investigate discrepancies and resolve billing queries efficiently
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly invoicing deadlines to ensure timely delivery
• Contribute to client planning and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with management to ensure service levels and client expectations are met
• Participate in client meetings or site visits when required
• Support the improvement and implementation of invoicing processes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information, including seasonal changes
• Ensure all required data is complete and correct before processing
• Perform general administrative duties related to invoicing
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit requests

• Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Accounting
• Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
• 2–3 years’ experience in an invoicing or billing role, preferably within Supply Chain or Logistics
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills and confidence dealing with clients
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
