Internal Sales and Customer Relations Co-Ordinator (6-Month Temp Assignment)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales and Customer Relations Co-Ordinator to join our clients team for a 6-month temporary assignment based in Kempton Park. The succseful candidate requires strong customer engagement, timely response to queries, and regular interaction with key account clients to build relationships and increase sales and to drive sales growth by promoting the clients tooling products and achieving forecasted targets.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities

• Customer and Supplier 
• Preparing of quotations as per customer request which will be received via email and telephone calls. 
• Liaising with Suppliers for pricing and availability. 
• Processing of purchase on Supplier online platforms
• Assist walk-in customers in the onsite tool shop

• Customer PODs are uploaded daily to Cloud server. 
• Cross-check monthly supplier statements and ensure all corresponding invoices are captured accurately in Sage Pastel. 
• Account supplier invoices to be filled and submitted to finance monthly. 
• Upload key account customer’s PODs to their portal to ensure timeous payments.
• Provide finance department daily with credit/debit card payment allocations.
• Confirm with finance department all eft payment have cleared into the bank account before releasing customer orders.

• Coordinate urgent orders and ensure priority handling where required. 
• Work closely with warehouse/logistics to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment. 
• Monitor stock availability and communicate shortages proactively. 
• Assist with quarterly and year-end stock counts. 

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years proven internal sales and customer liaison experience. 
• Tools and hardware experience is advantageous. 
• Self-motivated, results-driven must be able to work independently and in a small team.
• Service-oriented and strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise sales activities effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and can resolve customer queries quickly and effectively.
• Strong Interpersonal skills.
• Computer Proficiency:  Sage Pastel 50 (non-Negotiable) 
  - Microsoft Word – Basic 
  - Microsoft excel – Intermediate 
  - Microsoft Outlook – intermediate
• Valid driver License and be willing to travel to call on customers.
