SUMMARY:
Seeking a Technical Support Internal Sales person to provide pre and post sales support to customers and the sales team, including ensuring efficient handling and resolving all warranties and repairs related requests.

POSITION INFO:

Providing Technical assistance to customers and sales team in ensuring accurate product selection, quotations, and order execution.

Sales - Internal Sales functions including telesales, processing of orders and all other customer service-related activities Order Processing.

Tool Repairs - Responsible for all JHB Branch repairs (managing full process from return to replacement / repair / calibration) Pro Active Selling.

Technical Enquiries - Attending to all technical support enquiries (Staff & Customers.).

• Evaluation of faulty products received & advising customers of warranties VS repairs.

• Monitor customer returns. Identify & communicate trends.

• Update as required Calibrations list, Repairs list / timelines and warranty procedure.

Telesales

• Assist customers with product selection and demonstrations based on application, industry, and budget requirements.

Ad-hoc

• Identify frequent Cash Sale customers with potential sales growth that could be converted to accounts.

• Create report that evaluates monthly returns by frequency and value.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to support the team and operational requirements

Requirements:

Proficient in MS Office and SAGE CRM/ERP systems.
Excellent organisational and communication skills (English) with Customer Service Orientation.
Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
Able to work overtime when required.
Strong understanding of electrical tools and test & measurement instruments.
High Standard of accuracy whilst working under pressure
Post matric certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
2–5 years’ experience in an Internal Sales and/or Technical Sales with experience working with industrial or electrical contracting customers is a desired requirement.
Post matric qualification in Electrical or Electronics will be an added advantage
