POSITION INFO:

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to support the sales team by managing client relationships, processing orders, and driving revenue growth from within the office. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a passion for sales and customer service

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Engagement

• Respond to inbound sales enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or services
• Generate quotations and follow up to secure orders
• Upsell and cross-sell products where appropriate

Order Management & Administration

• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
• Liaise with logistics, warehouse, and external sales teams to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain and update customer records on CRM systems
• Assist with pricing, stock availability, and product information (stock control)

Sales Support

• Support external sales representatives with quotes, proposals, and client communication
• Track sales performance and provide regular feedback to management
• Assist with preparing sales reports and forecasts

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• 2–5 years’ experience in an internal sales or customer service role
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience working on CRM or ERP systems

Preferred Requirements

• Exposure to order processing and supply chain coordination
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
