SUMMARY:
Johannesburg. Well-established, growing concern servicing the Pet and Veterinary industry seeks Internal Sales Representative who is customer centric focussed and results-driven with strong attention to detail. Pet industry or FMCG experience is preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Achieve sales targets
Answering calls and screening and forwarding calls to the relevant person
Proactively calling allocated existing customer lists to take orders and inform them about a product or promotion
Take and process orders in a quick and accurate manner
Notify customers of out of stocks daily at the time of order placement (or when required) and giving them feedback on back in stock dates as well as alternative recommendations where possible
Handle queries in a professional manner and follow up
Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
Liaise with other relevant departments in order to drive the business and service levels (sales, marketing etc.)
Assist in Customer Care

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Own transport preferred
Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to sell products, resolve issues and address complaints
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to give full attention to what customer is saying
Ability to understand the customer’s needs
Experience in inventory control is an advantage
Good knowledge of MS Office and computer skills and experience essential
