SUMMARY:
DBN000257 - Internal Sales Consultant - Midrand

Purpose of the job:
Responsible for driving sales by managing key clients, handling orders, and ensuring customer needs are met from start to finish.

Required Qualifications:

Matric / Grade 12 required
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
SAP knowledge advantageous
Tertiary qualification in Sales/Marketing is a plus
5 years’ experience in sales or a related role
Solid knowledge of board and timber products essential

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience:

Plan and execute sales activities, handle enquiries, prepare quotes, and follow up to secure business
Identify upselling opportunities and stay informed on market trends and competitor activity
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers through regular engagement
Understand client needs and provide suitable product solutions to maximize satisfaction
Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally to maintain positive relationships
Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring alignment with performance goals (KPA’s)
Manage orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with clients
Handle administrative tasks including reporting, coordinating with warehouse, and supporting stock takes
