POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS
 

• Matric (a post-matric qualification in sales, business, or administration is advantageous)
• Sales background, preferably in the building materials industry will be advantageous
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a personable and professional manner
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM platforms
• Well-organized with excellent time management capabilities
• Comfortable working under pressure in a dynamic fast-paced setting
• Keen attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving
• Self-motivated, driven and takes initiative
• Service-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
• Team player who can also perform effectively when working independently

• Build and maintain positive customer relationships by managing transactions and driving sales performance
• Handle sales administration tasks such as issuing credit notes and maintaining back-order records
• Monitor overdue accounts and initiate follow-ups to ensure timely collections
• Schedule and track deliveries to guarantee efficient and accurate order processing
• Contribute to inventory management through regular cycle counts, stocktakes, and processing GRNs
• Gain comprehensive product knowledge in order to confidently promote and support sales efforts
• Support the sales team with report generation and a range of administrative responsibilities
