Our client is a well-established supplier of specialist building materials with a strong reputation for quality products and exceptional customer service. They are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Internal Sales Consultant to join their Cape Town branch.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product enquiries, pricing, stock availability and deliveries.
• Process counter, telephonic and email sales.
• Prepare accurate quotations, sales orders, invoices and delivery notes.
• Follow up on quotations, back orders and customer enquiries.
• Identify sales opportunities and build long-term customer relationships.
• Liaise with the warehouse and purchasing departments regarding stock requirements.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and competitor activity.
• Participate in stock counts and assist with general branch operations.

Minimum Requirements

✔ Previous experience in Internal Sales, Counter Sales or Customer Sales.
✔ Experience within the building materials, hardware, construction, ceilings, drywall, roofing or related industry is highly advantageous.
✔ Strong customer service and communication skills.
✔ Computer literate with experience using ERP or accounting systems.
✔ Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
✔ Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
✔ A proactive attitude with a passion for sales.
