SUMMARY:
A wellâestablished, national retail and operations group is seeking an Internal Auditor to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and assessing internal controls, supporting risk management processes, and contributing to loss control initiatives across multiple business units.
This role includes the planning, execution, and documentation of audits, as well as reporting on findings and collaborating with management on corrective actions. The position requires regular engagement with operational teams and travel to various sites.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:
Conduct branch and operational audits
Perform stock counts and validate stock control processes
Evaluate internal controls and identify potential risks
Prepare clear, concise audit reports
Recommend practical riskâmitigation strategies
Support loss prevention activities
Perform administrative and adâhoc duties related to internal audit operations
Strong judgement and ability to manage complexity
High level of selfâawareness
Resultsâdriven and performanceâoriented
Energetic and proactive mindset
Commitment to adding continuous value

Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
Strong analytical and problemâsolving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build positive working relationships and operate independently
Experience with computerâassisted audit tools is advantageous
Previous retail industry exposure is beneficial
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport

Qualification:
National Diploma in Internal Auditing
