SUMMARY:
We are looking for an Infrastructure Technician to implement, maintain, support develop and, in some cases, design, communication networks and platforms within the organisation or between organisations. Maintain the integrity of high availability network and infrastructure.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

 

Maintain high availability infrastructure

  • Perform daily maintenance and upgrades of the Affinity/TMS branch offices and multiple data centre infrastructure (Including cloud services)

  • WAN Management and configuration

  • LAN Management and configuration

  • Optimize service improvement within the infrastructure

  • Remote infrastructure support-troubleshooting within a specific SLA

  • IP address management

  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls

 

Conduct research on latest networking

  • Develop and assist in Data Centre consolidations

  • Cloud Services, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity connectivity design

 

Perform general administrative functions

  • Collaborative, communicate and assist IT Support teams

  • Capacity management/ Reporting within the infrastructure, including monitoring and alerting

  • Vendor support and management / 3rd party partners

  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers
