IT Technician

SUMMARY:
A custom focused IT company is looking for an energetic IT Technician that will be situated in Johannesburg East.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent qualification.
• Three years’ experience.
• Experience with the following: Access points, wireless networking, Hardware diagnostics, Firewalls, Servers.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for the installation of Hardware and Software.
• Responsible for the installation of LT routers and Wi-Fi routers.
• Onsite support.
• First-line support.
• Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
  • Responsible for LAN cabling with the knowledge of topology (Ethernet).
  • Responsible for network setup and diagnostics.
  • Assisting with outbound calls as well as remote assistance.

Additional information:

• Company car included for traveling.
• Petrol reimbursement, should they travel with their own vehicle.
