Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, corridors, lobbies, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces according to hotel standards.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces to ensure hygiene and presentation.
• Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.

• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety procedures while performing duties.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely according to instructions.
• Report any hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

• Assist housekeeping and other departments as needed to maintain a positive guest experience.
• Ensure areas are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.

• Work closely with other housekeeping staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support the housekeeping supervisor in completing tasks efficiently.

• Monitor cleaning supply levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Handle equipment and supplies with care to minimize loss or damage.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate required.

Experience

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is advantageous but not essential.

Preferred Skills

• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues.
