Stellenbosch:  My client, an esteemed 5-Star Guest Lodge situated in the heart of the Cape Winelands, has a vacancy for a Receptionist to join their Team. POSITION INFO:
Purpose of Role:  To support the Reservations Manager in overseeing Front Office operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience, maintaining service excellence, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Guest Relations & Service:
• Provide a warm welcome and professional check-in/check-out experience.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
• Maintain guest profiles and ensure personalized service.
• Operations & Administration:
• Perform daily reception float checks, banking sign-offs, and house account reviews.
• Conduct stock checks (stationery, guest supplies, keys, etc.).
• Oversee front office hygiene, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance.
• Team Coordination & Support:
• Assist with training needs and team communication.
• Ensure smooth shift handovers and operational updates.
• Drive upselling culture and maintain service standards.

• Experience in front office, hospitality, or customer service roles.
• Strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Apex, Opera, and reservation systems is an advantage.
• Ability to problem-solve, multitask, and work under pressure.
