SUMMARY:
Hospitality Hire is recruiting for an experienced Hotel Concierge for a busy 4-star hotel in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a guest-focused hospitality professional who enjoys interacting with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for delivering outstanding service and local guest experiences.
We are looking for someone who knows the Cape Town attractions exceptionally well and can confidently assist guests with restaurant bookings, recommendations, transport arrangements, tours and personalised experiences while maintaining professional hotel service standards.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

Matric or equivalent qualification
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience within a Hotel Concierge or Guest Services role
Previous hotel experience essential
Strong knowledge of Cape Town attractions, restaurants, wine farms, beaches, tours and transport services
Experience arranging restaurant bookings and guest experiences
Excellent communication and guest service skills
Professional presentation and well-spoken manner
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Computer literate
South African ID or valid work permit

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services & Concierge Support

Welcome guests and assist with concierge-related requests
Arrange restaurant bookings, transport, tours and guest experiences
Provide personalised recommendations on local attractions, restaurants and activities
Assist guests with special requests and local travel arrangements

Guest Experience

Deliver warm, professional and personalised guest service at all times
Build strong guest relationships and create memorable experiences
Handle guest queries, requests and complaints efficiently
Ensure all guest interactions reflect high hospitality standards

Operational Support

Coordinate with Front Office and other hotel departments
Maintain accurate records of bookings and guest requests
Ensure smooth communication between guests and service providers
Assist with general guest services and daily concierge operations
