HR COORDINATOR – CAPE TOWN

An established professional services organisation in Cape Town is looking for a capable HR Coordinator to join its HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid HR administration experience who is ready to take ownership, work independently and grow their HR career.

POSITION INFO:
What You’ll Be Doing

Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
Prepare monthly HR reports and HR correspondence
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding
Provide recruitment administration support for experienced hires
Screen applications and coordinate interviews
Assist with graduate recruitment, Candidate Attorney and Vacation Work programmes
Coordinate career fairs, campus recruitment activities and job-shadow programmes
Maintain training records, schedules and attendance registers
Assist with employee communications and ad hoc HR projects
Coordinate staff wellness initiatives, social events and staff gifting
Take minutes at SRC and OHS meetings
Provide general HR support across the organisation

What We’re Looking For

Matric / Grade 12
2–3 years’ HR administration or related administrative experience
Relevant HR qualification or tertiary degree advantageous
Previous experience in a professional services or legal environment advantageous
Good MS Office skills
HRIS / employee management system experience advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational ability
Able to handle confidential information professionally
Proactive, methodical and deadline driven
Comfortable working independently while being a strong team player
Someone who takes ownership and gets things done
