HR & Payroll Administrator

Area: Eikenhof, Johannesburg

Salary: R1500 to R18000 depending on qualifications and experience

Purpose of the position: Position is available for one HR & Payroll Administrator to assist in the HR Department.

Duties:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation and maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refer more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Provide clerical support to the HR department.
Assistance with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing payslips.
Input on VIP where necessary;
Conduct or assist with new hire orientation.
Capturing and filing of employee documentation
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficient with VIP

Education and Experience:

Minimum Matric
At least 2 years’ experience working as an HR or Payroll Assistant/ Administrator;
At least 2 years’ experience working on VIP.
