Group Liquor Manager

SUMMARY:
A well-established retail and liquor group in the southern Drakensberg is seeking a hands-on GROUP LIQUOR MANAGER to oversee operations across multiple outlets.

POSITION INFO:
This role suits a self-motivated operator with solid liquor retail experience; you'll manage the operational, compliance, and staffing side of six liquor outlets.

Core Criteria:

• Previous relevant experience in liquor retail (SAB experience advantageous)
• Valid driver's licence and clean criminal record
• Sound understanding of retail liquor legislation
• Matric with a minimum 50% pass in Mathematics (SG)
• Proven ability to manage staff and multiple outlets independently

• Oversee the operational running of six liquor outlets
• Manage bulk buying, GP, and range management
• Compile documentation required for liquor licensing
• Arrange wedding and bulk order quotes
• Conduct stocktaking across outlets
• Manage and support staff, stepping in as required
• Resolve operational and customer problem areas
• Ensure compliance with shift and public holiday scheduling

• Market-related salary, based on experience
