The Graphic Designer will create a wide range of digital and print assets while working from comprehensive mood boards, clear concepts, established brand guidelines, and physical product samples.

Create digital and print assets for TV shopping channels, YouTube, social media platforms, and physical paper-crafting product kits.

Remote – South Africa | Fixed-Term Contract – Estimated 2–3 Days per Week | 9:00 AM–5:30 PM UK Time, Including a One-Hour Lunch Break | R35,000 per Month

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client produces content and physical paper-crafting products for TV shopping channels, including QVC Germany and HSN in the United States, as well as YouTube channels and social media platforms.

Their work includes digital marketing materials, preview lookbooks, step-by-step digital magazines, physical card kits, die-cut topper sheets, and printed instruction manuals.

THE ROLE: GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The Graphic Designer will create a wide range of digital and print assets while working from comprehensive mood boards, clear concepts, established brand guidelines, and physical product samples.

The role requires experience across both digital design and print artwork, including preparing factory-ready files and managing last-minute project briefings and updates within a dynamic SME environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create templated e-shots.

• Design social media banners.

• Produce 25–30-page preview lookbooks.

• Create multi-page, step-by-step digital magazines for product ranges such as Forever Flowers.

• Generate artwork for physical paper-crafting card designs.

• Create die-cut topper sheets.

• Produce A4 instruction manuals with 3mm bleed for factory print production.

• Prepare digital and print artwork in line with established brand guidelines.

• Work from comprehensive mood boards and clearly defined concepts.

• Manage last-minute project briefings, changes, and updates.

• Use physical product kits to understand three-dimensional product requirements.

• Communicate and manage creative work through Microsoft Teams and email.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven mid-level experience as a Graphic Designer.

• Experience across both digital design and print artwork is essential.

• Digital and print design experience.

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Understanding of print specifications, including 3mm bleeds and die-cut lines.

• Strong digital portfolio demonstrating digital banners, layouts, and print design.

• Ability to work UK business hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including a one-hour lunch break.

• Adaptable approach to handling last-minute project briefings and updates.

• High level of initiative, ownership, and attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate through Microsoft Teams and email, as WhatsApp is not used for creative tracking.

The estimated workload is two to three days per week within a fixed-term contract structure.

Physical product kits will be posted to the successful remote designer to support their understanding of the three-dimensional product requirements.
