Our client is looking for a highly experienced Grain Manager in Bloemfontein who can take ownership of grain management operations, ensure quality and compliance, optimise operational efficiency and lead a team to deliver exceptional results. Minimum requirements

• Matric

• Relevant Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Agriculture

• 5 years of management experience

• 10 years of experience in the grain industry would be an advantage

• SAFEX trading certificate would be an advantage

• Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft PowerPoint

• Fluent in Afrikaans and English

• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle

• Sound understanding and knowledge of grain trading and the functioning of futures markets

• Analysis of management statements

• Negotiation skills

• Good computer skills

• Strong analytical and numerical insight

• Business acumen

• Good interpersonal skills

• Good communication skills - verbal and written

• Margin management

• Budget management

Duties and responsibilities

• Strategic management of the company’s grain division

• Management of finances, customer service, personnel, and market share

• Overall management of grain handling and marketing processes

Remuneration

R 100 000 Cost to company, depending on experience

Work hours

Monday – Friday: 07h30 – 17h00

Saturdays: 08h00 – 12h00
