SUMMARY:
Graduate Electrical Engineer

POSITION INFO:

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, and control systems.
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations of electrical components and systems.
Support senior engineers in preparing electrical designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
Participate in site visits, inspections, and project reviews to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
Assist with the preparation of engineering reports, calculations, and cost estimates.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and contractors.
Provide technical support to internal teams and clients when required.
Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and environmental regulations throughout project execution.

Education & Qualifications

Essential

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Advantageous

Internship experience in electrical engineering or related projects.
Knowledge of renewable energy systems and smart grid technologies.

Skills & Knowledge

Technical Knowledge

Strong understanding of:
- Electrical systems
- Electrical circuits
- Control systems
- Power generation and distribution systems
Ability to read and interpret:
- Electrical schematics
- Technical drawings
- Blueprints
Knowledge of electrical safety codes and standards such as:
- IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission)
- NEC (National Electrical Code)
- OSHA standards

Software Skills

Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks
- ETAP
- MATLAB
- Other electrical design and analysis tools
