SUMMARY:
Southern Oil Pty Ltd, an established company and market leader in the manufacturing of Canola oil and related products in the retail, food services and bulk sectors, has the following exciting career opportunity in Swellendam.

POSITION INFO:

Short Summary:

The main responsibility of this position is the cleaning, loading and offloading of the trucks.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning and loading of trucks to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
Ensure that all loads are covered after loading.
Washing of cans, drums and flow bins and filter bags.
Cleaning the loading and offloading areas of all incoming bulk oil and oil cake trucks.
Cleaning of loading equipment, stores and wash bay according to the cleaning schedule.
Reporting all quality, health and safety related problems immediately to the Dispatch Supervisor.
Assist the Dispatch Supervisor and Team Leader with ad hoc tasks.
Comply to Safety, Food Safety, and Environmental Procedures and as per Soill Policy.

Key Competencies:

Education and Skills

Minimum of Grade 12
Literate in Afrikaans or English
No previous experience required
Interpersonal skills
Must be able to work in team and alone
Good time management
Disciplined and reliable
Forklift experience will be an advantage
