Gearbox Lubrication Technician – Shutdown

Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Gearbox Lubrication Technician to assist with planned shutdown maintenance at an industrial facility in Delmas. The successful candidate will be responsible for gearbox lubrication, inspections and basic maintenance to support equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Perform gearbox lubrication and oil changes.
Inspect gearboxes for leaks, wear, overheating, noise and vibration.
Apply correct oils and greases according to specifications.
Assist with gearbox inspections, servicing and repairs.
Identify and report lubrication or mechanical faults.
Maintain accurate maintenance and lubrication records.
Follow all site, health and safety procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience in industrial lubrication, gearbox or mechanical maintenance.
Good knowledge of industrial oils, greases and lubrication practices.
Good mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability.
Ability to work safely around industrial and rotating equipment.
Relevant mechanical/lubrication qualification advantageous.
Condition monitoring or oil analysis experience advantageous.
Valid driver's licence may be required.
