Our client in the Boland/Helderberg, requires a junior Fruit Quality Coordinator to join their Fruit Export Company

We are looking for a self-disciplined, independent individual who is focused on producing high quality, detailed work within a team environment.

Responsibilities include, but is not limited to:

• Manage the fruit quality processes with regards to packing and final product.
• Collect and interpret fruit quality data and report on deviations.
• Review fruit quality data and report on relevant trends.
• Oversee and ensure compliance to quality and food safety standards.
• Ensure that pre-season planning is in place and aligned with the Sales, Pre-Harvest, Post-Harvest and Logistics Team.
• Conduct post season reconciliations, reports and solve post-season queries.
• Close co-operation with growers pack houses and the trading team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Post matric qualification in agriculture.
• Previous work experience in post-harvest fruit handling or fruit production environment will be beneficial.
• A minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Effective communication and computer skills (excel).
• Valid driver’s license and valid passport.
• Willing to travel.
