Company Overview

ITC Hospitality Group is a fast-growing, privately owned property letting and management company based in the Cape Town CBD, with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and property management industry.

The Company manages a portfolio of 4- and 5-star graded serviced apartments throughout the Cape Town CBD, Foreshore and De Waterkant.

We are seeking two energetic, organised and detail-oriented Front Office Ambassadors with strong concierge experience to join our Operations team at The Charlotte, our new sister property. Successful candidates will provide a welcoming and professional guest experience while ensuring the smooth running of daily front office operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage guest check-ins, check-outs and reservations.

• Respond to guest enquiries in person, by telephone and through company communication channels.

• Programme room access cards and manage guest and visitor access.

• Process payments, finalise guest accounts and ensure accurate billing.

• Provide concierge services, including arranging transport, restaurant reservations, tours and activities tailored to guests’ needs.

• Assist with luggage and guest requests, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on local attractions and services.

• Promote the Company’s services and facilities.

• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to address guest needs.

• Prepare clear shift handovers and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Strong concierge experience is essential, including arranging guest services and providing personalised recommendations.

• Previous hotel reception, front office or similar hospitality experience.

• Good knowledge of Cape Town’s attractions, restaurants and transport options.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, and familiarity with hotel reservation systems.

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and remain professional under pressure.

• Availability to work rostered weekends and public holidays, with reliable transport arrangements.

Position Details

Location: The Charlotte, Cape Town
Salary: R7,000–R8,000 per month
Current shifts: 06:00–18:00, four days on and three days off, subject to change
Availability: Urgent vacancy
Vacancies: Two

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an interview and complete a one-day trial shift.
