WE’RE HIRING!

Founding Sales Executive

Location: Cape Town, South Africa
Industry: Restaurant Technology
Employment Type: Full-time | Field-based
Start Date: ASAP

Salary: R25000-R60000 depending on experience

ABOUT US

We’re changing how people order food.

We’re building a voice-powered ordering platform that allows customers to simply speak their orders, helping restaurants serve faster, reduce mistakes, and improve efficiency.

We’re looking for a driven sales hunter to help us expand into restaurants across Cape Town.

THE ROLE

You’ll own outbound sales across Cape Town, from opening doors and demonstrating our platform to signing restaurants and getting them up and running.

This is a field-based, high-autonomy role for someone who knows the Cape Town restaurant scene inside out.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prospect, pitch, and close independent restaurants, quick-service restaurants (QSRs), cafés, and restaurant groups.

• Leverage your existing relationships with restaurant owners and decision-makers.

• Conduct compelling, in-person product demonstrations.

• Own the entire sales cycle, from the first conversation to a signed customer.

• Build a strong sales pipeline and consistently secure new restaurant locations.

• Share market insights that directly influence product development and growth strategy.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of proven outbound B2B sales experience, ideally in restaurant technology, point-of-sale (POS) systems, payments, or foodservice.

• An established network of Cape Town restaurant owners and operators. This is non-negotiable.

• A genuine sales hunter with a proven track record of consistently closing new business.

• A confident, charismatic, commercially minded individual who excels in face-to-face interactions.

• An entrepreneurial, self-driven, resourceful person who is comfortable building from the ground up.

• Someone who can walk into a restaurant, command attention, and get the owner excited within five minutes.

Experience at companies in the payments, point-of-sale, or restaurant technology industries would be highly relevant.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Competitive base salary plus uncapped, performance-driven commission.

• The opportunity to be the company’s first dedicated sales hire.

• Direct access to the founder and meaningful influence on the business.

• The chance to help build a restaurant technology company from the ground up.

HOW TO APPLY

Submit your CV along with a short introduction explaining:

Which restaurant businesses or operators in Cape Town could you realistically secure meetings with in your first 30 days, based on your existing relationships?

We don’t need your former employer’s customer database. We want to understand the strength of your professional network.

We’re not hiring someone to learn how to sell. We’re hiring someone who already knows how to open doors.
