We are inviting capable Foreman candidates with 5 years on the job experience to connect with us for possible fixed term contract positions at a local municipality.

POSITION INFO:
Who We Want to Meet
Foreman candidates who meet the following criteria:

Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen with a valid South African Identity Document
 
Minimum Requirements: Grade 10 or equivalent technical qualification. 5 years relevant on the job supervisory experience.
 
Descriptors: Works independently within works/maintenance programme. Provides regular report backs to a Superintendent/ Manager.
 
Core Functions / Characteristics:

• Supervises a team performing semi-skilled work e.g. erecting signs or fencing.
• Is engaged in more complicated technical work.
• Does routine administrative tasks, completes standard forms and inspection reports.
• Responsible for the issue and receipt of tools.
• Allocates work for the day.
• Checks and inspects work in progress and on completion.
