A distinguished wine estate in the Cape Winelands, celebrated for its farm-to-fork philosophy and timeless charm, is looking for a visionary food & beverage manager to guide and elevate its immersive culinary and wine experiences.

Your role
You’ll lead all F&B operations across the estate, including the restaurant, tasting room, curated events, and bespoke guest experiences. Working closely with the head of gastronomy, culinary teams, and winemakers, you’ll be the voice of excellence in service, storytelling, and sustainability.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience in a senior food & beverage role in a luxury or boutique hospitality setting
• Strong working knowledge of wine and wine service
• Genuine appreciation for seasonal cuisine, local produce, and regenerative practices
• A proven history of overseeing multi-outlet operations and managing teams
• Excellent guest engagement and front-of-house service management skills
• Highly organised, creative, and driven by attention to detail
• Hands-on, people-centric leadership style
• Commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainable hospitality standards
• Strong financial acumen (budgets, procurement, cost control)

• Guide and refine all food and beverage operations in line with the estate’s sustainability and quality vision
• Design and implement tailored guest experiences across dining, tasting, and event functions
• Partner with chefs, winemakers, and growers to develop seasonal menus and beverage pairings
• Inspire and manage a passionate service team focused on excellence and guest satisfaction
• Ensure operational compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Monitor and control budgets, supplier relations, inventory, and procurement systems
• Drive team development through ongoing training, mentoring, and performance coaching
• Cultivate a unique beverage and wine list that reflects the estate’s values and identity
