SUMMARY:

A leading FMCG retailer based in Pietermaritzburg is in search of a Food Department Manager to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Ensure departmental sales in line with budgets  Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
Recruit, select, manage and develop people to meet competence requirements
Manage accurate and timeous completion of daily store foods processes and foods operational standards
Participate in team to ensure achievement of department and store goals
Manage implementation and integration of new initiatives to achieve project goals
Participate in general store operational duties
Ensure shopkeeping disciplines are continuously in place
Maximise promotions and special events
Ensure timeous replenishment of stock
Implement and monitor all departmental activities
Minimize and manage shrinkage
