Fleet Co ordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Fleet Operations Coordinator

  • Fuel consumption management and compliance
  • Establishing efficinet routes and transportation schedules
  • Vehicle and driver tracking and monitoring
  • Vehicles scheduling, planning and client liaising
  • Coordinating drivers and on-site general workers
  • Ensuring compliance with service levels and resolving fleet breakdowns
  • Managing vehicle license, registration and roadworthiness
  • Ensuring all fleet members have proper license and up-to-date training
  • Monitoring drivers to ensure adherence to shedules and proper driver practices
  • Sourcing, hiring and training new drivers
  • Driver inductions
  • Providing budget, schedule, maintenance and fleet progress reports o management
  • Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficienty
  • Incident and claim management and reporting
  • Ensure necessary disciplinary actions against drivers
  • Documentation management (POD''s and queries)
  • Ensure all vehicles meet required company standards and update vehicle inspection sheet
  • Meet monthly targets set by management
