Recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading player in the FMCG industry, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter and Turner to join their dynamic maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-certified professional who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about equipment efficiency and reliability.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mechanical maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on production machinery.
• Ensure minimal downtime through preventative maintenance and fault-finding.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to optimise machine performance.
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and GMP standards at all times.

• Trade Certificate as a Fitter and Turner (essential).
• 4–6 years' experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry (essential).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to work shifts and be available for overtime or breakdown response as needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
