Financial Clerk / Debtors Controller

SUMMARY:
Our Client in the Automotive Repair industry is seeking to employ an experienced Financial Clerk / Debtors Controller to join their team in Port Elizabeth.

6-month probationary contract, with the possibility of a permanent position thereafter.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Financial qualification / certificate (non-negotiable).
• Working experience on Pastel Partner (non-negotiable).
• Financial accuracy is a must.
• Candidates should have some formal Financial/Accounting instruction.

• Process customer invoices, receipts, and credit notes.
• Maintain and reconcile debtor accounts.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts and collections.
• Allocate customer payments accurately.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve account queries.
• Prepare debtor age analysis reports.
• Process bank reconciliations and daily cash allocations.
• Assist with month-end financial procedures.
• Capture financial transactions accurately on Pastel Partner.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
