Financial Administrator

SUMMARY:
One of my clients in the financial investment services space is currently seeking a Financial Administrator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the Investment space.

POSITION INFO:

Pre-requisites

• 3-5 year’s relevant work experience
• Good knowledge of and experience with the Companies Act and Regulations
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Mathematical knowledge, basic arithmetic and finance (interest etc.)
• Dynamic individual, team player and problem solver.
• Attitude is key.

Advantageous

• Relevant degree/diploma adv. but not mandatory (legal, b.com, bus. admin)
• Professional membership with secretarial body adv. but not mandatory
• Experience skills with tax adv. but not mandatory

Responsibilities :

Company secretarial role

• Overseeing delivery to clients
• Client liaison and stakeholder management
• Assistance with drafting resolutions and documents in line with legislation and specific governance requirements
• Submissions to CIPC and regulators (FSCA, SARS etc.)
• Keeping abreast with legislation and impact on the business and clients

Administrative role

• Oversight
• Records management
• Planning

Additional key role

• Run and build out the secretarial function within an entrepreneurial business
• Business development
• Assistance with administrative tasks in other areas of business on an ad hoc basis.
