This organisation has built its name around making logistics work smarter, from road freight and warehousing to dedicated distribution, cross-border solutions and tailored 3PL services. With a strong focus on adaptability and finding the right solution for each customer's supply chain, this is a business where finance needs to keep pace with an operation that never stands still.

As Financial Accountant, you'll work across a broad finance function, getting involved in everything from supplier and intercompany transactions to tax, reconciliations, reporting and cost analysis. You'll also work closely with the AP and AR teams, giving you a role that reaches well beyond traditional financial accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of supplier invoicing and intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing
Work closely with the AP and AR teams to resolve queries and maintain smooth financial operations
Oversee VAT and tax requirements, ensuring compliance and accurate submissions
Dive into reconciliations, reporting and cost analysis to identify trends and support better financial decisions
Maintain accurate financial records and provide meaningful financial information to key stakeholders

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
5 to 7 years' experience in a Financial Accounting environment
Logistics or manufacturing industry experience (essential)
Proven experience working with SAP or Sage ERP systems
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work across a high-volume environment
