POSITION INFO:
Imagine a big toy box with lots of moving pieces — that’s what this company looks like. Every piece has to fit in the right place, and finance is the one who makes sure nothing goes missing. As the Accountant, you’ll be in charge of putting the puzzle together: reports, reconciliations, statements, and more. You’ll also get to learn how the bigger kids (management) make decisions, and you’ll play a role in helping them.

Key Responsibilities

Make sure the money puzzle fits together with monthly accounts and reports
Write the “story of the numbers” in financial statements
Keep the books neat and tidy with reconciliations
Help build the “future picture” with budgets and forecasts
Bring fresh ideas to make the game faster and easier

Job Experience and Skills Required

BCom Accounting degree
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
1–2 years’ post-articles experience – you’ve played the game before
Strong technical knowledge (IFRS helps you play by the rules)
Energetic, detail-loving, and curious to learn even more
