POSITION INFO:

A pioneering manufacturing entity who is dedicated to designing and developing state-of-the-art solutions. As they expand their operations and scale new heights, they need a sharp and reliable Financial Accountant to strengthen their financial framework and contribute to our ongoing success.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
Experience on Xero OR Dear Inventory would be advantages
Knowledge of IFRS
Strong knowledge of accounting software and Excel, experience with manufacturing-specific financial software is a plus.
Excellent understanding of accounting rules and understanding of inventory within the manufacturing field
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the finance department, reporting directly to the Head of Finance
Will be responsible for the full finance function.
Compile advanced Reports: Cashflow, management packs and reports, budget and forecasting reports.
Prepare and oversee bi-annual Audits.
Prepare and submit PAYE, VAT and provisional tax.
Understanding of an environment with inventory and manufacturing.
Monitoring of inventory movement and transactions.
Understanding and implementation of accounting transactions to AFS level
Review and maintain internal controls with regard to financial risk management BBBEE calculations and cost monitoring ensuring compliance within the monthly reporting framework as a whole
Financial Analysis and communicating financial data in a clear and concise manner.
Identify, assess, and manage financial risks that could impact the organization.
Managing and preventing financial risk.
Assisting with BBBEE Audits
Oversee the Financial compliance.
