SUMMARY:
A well-established company in Cape Town seeking an experienced Field Service Technician / Earthmoving Mechanic to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Qualified Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Mechanic (advantageous)
3–5 years' experience as a Field Service Technician or Earthmoving Mechanic
Essential experience working on mobile cranes
Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy equipment
Valid driver's licence
Willingness to travel to customer sites when required

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, service and repair mobile cranes at customer sites and in the workshop
Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
Fault-find on hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems
Inspect equipment and identify repair requirements
Complete job cards and service reports accurately
Ensure all work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards
Provide technical support and maintain strong customer relationships
