SUMMARY:
A well-established bush property in the Waterberg, Limpopo is seeking a skilled and versatile ð ððð¡ð§ðð¡ðð¡ðð ð§ðððð¡ððððð¡ / ððððð ðð¨ððð to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
This is a practical, hands-on role for someone who takes pride in keeping a lodge operation running smoothly while bringing genuine guiding ability to the table when the bush calls for it.

Candidate Responsibilities:

Oversee and carry out day-to-day maintenance across the property
Identify, report, and resolve infrastructure issues timeously
Conduct regular property inspections and preventative maintenance checks
Coordinate with management on maintenance priorities and projects
Lead or assist with guided game drives, bush walks, or guest experiences as required
Maintain all vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order
Uphold safety standards across the operation

Core Criteria:

Proven maintenance experience across general lodge infrastructure (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs)
Qualified field guide (FGASA or equivalent) — essential or strongly preferred
Comfortable switching between operational and guest-facing responsibilities
Ability to work independently and take ownership in a remote bush environment
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude
Valid driver's licence
Reliable, physically fit, and adaptable

This is a live-in position.
