PLAAS VOORMAN (FARM FOREMAN) 

Our client in the Milling and Animal Feed sector is seeking an experienced Farm Foreman for Mixed Farming with a robust mechanical background!

 Location: Free State
 Salary: R20,000 - R30,000 (Depending on experience)

Essential Experience: 

•  5 - 10 years farm management experience
•  Strong mechanical background
•  Valid driver''''''''s license
•  Staff management experience
•  Basic farm maintenance capabilities

Key Responsibilities: 

•  Management of day-to-day operational activities
•  Cattle herd management
•  Cultivation of maize and planted pasture under irrigation
•  General maintenance of farm equipment
•  Fire management and prevention
•  Staff supervision and management
•  Other duties as required from time to time

Skills Required: 

•  Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
•  Leadership and team management
•  Farm equipment operation and maintenance
•  Mixed farming knowledge
•  Irrigation system understanding
•  Problem-solving abilities
