Breeder Farm Supervior

SUMMARY:
Seeking a Breeder Supervisor (Poultry) with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the area of rearing/laying. Relevant poultry courses will be beneficial.

POSITION INFO:
Required:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to day supervision and output of the site and its team.
• Tertiary qualification is essential, with at least 5 years' experience in similar environment.
• A good understanding of modern farming methods, and a commitment to animal welfare.
• Ability to apply the basics of poultry effectively on site.
• Ensuring that livestock is treated humanely and in compliance with company standards (monitoring feedings, spillages, report deviations, and vaccinations).
• Coaching and monitoring employees to help them develop a clear understanding of the standards/requirements related to animal welfare, food safety and quality.
