SUMMARY:
Manufacturing Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Plant Controller

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications: -

·Minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar role in a multinational Manufacturing company (with hands on experience in Manufacturing

·Diploma in Finance or Accounting

·Exceptional communication skills, able to partner well with cross-functional management team to deliver desired outcomes

·Outstanding presentation skills

·A self-starter who requires little supervision and is able to adapt in a rapidly changing, constantly shifting environment

·High energy and work rate to work under pressure and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines

·High level of integrity and confidentiality

·Mature with ability to tolerate stress

·Experienced in working with standard accounting packages & MS Advanced Excel/Word

·Great administration skills and meticulous in attention to detail with a relentless focus on 100% accuracy

·Excellent numeracy skills with good analytical and problem solving skills

·Good interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills

·Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and effective communication at all levels

·Good analytical skills and proactive problem solving skills

Duties will include, but not limited to: -

·Compiles and maintains annual budgets and regular forecasts (capital expenditure, costing, inventory, conversion expenses, etc)

·Presents budgets and forecasts to local and regional teams, outstanding presentation skills also required as presentations will be presented to the international team from time to time.

·Drives the planning and budgeting process: as a member of the Leadership Team, the controller will be the driving force behind the budgeting process

·Managing risks: identifies, analyzes, monitors and coordinates (potential) business risks from a financial point of view and highlights them

·Preparation of monthly / quarterly / year-end financial and management reports

·Provides monthly analysis on variances to budget

·Ensures departments are provided a monthly cost center reports and collaborates with budget holders on understanding their actuals and budgets

·Helps business partners on developing their financial acumen

·Financial accounting: Ensures data accuracy and that expenses are appropriately booked (balance-sheet, P&L statement, etc.).

·Ensures everything is done in compliance and follows the compliance policies of the company and country

·Improves processes and imports/exports best practices

·Manages staff that reports directly to the Operations Controller by coaching, guiding and equipping the team to adequately support the business

·Be an active member in the regional finance team. Needs to be able to work in a virtual environment

·Proactively implements ways to develop manufacturing understanding linked to key financial indicators
